Entry requirements

A level: BBB IB: 34 points with 6, 6, 5 at HL including in the degree subject(s) and at least two Science / Mathematics subjects. Biology at HL6 is preferred. SL or HL in English and Mathematics are also required. SQA Highers: ABBB. Irish Leaving Certificate: Five subjects at Higher with two at H2 and three at H3. H2 is required in two Mathematics / Science subjects (Biology preferred). O4 in English, Mathematics and in either Chemistry or Biology are also required.

About this course

BSc in Pharmacology and Cellular Molecular and Biochemistry, offering a comprehensive path through human biology and disease processes over four years. Core topics include Data Analysis, Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Clinical Skills, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme features a progression from foundational sciences in the early years to advanced topics and specialisation pathways in the junior and senior honours years. Students can conduct independent research projects or choose an optional year-long industrial placement in a professional setting.
