UniScout is an independent, educational project for exploring UK degree course information. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of UCAS, HESA, the Office for Students, or any university named on this site.
Nothing on this site is official admissions advice. Entry requirements, module lists, and course details are collected from public university web pages and may be outdated, incomplete, or since changed. Outcome statistics are sourced from HESA's Discover Uni dataset and matched to courses by title, which is not always a perfect match. Always confirm current entry requirements, course content, and fees directly with the university and on UCAS before making any decisions.
The contextual/widening-access eligibility checker uses a best-effort, simplified reading of each university's published criteria. A result of "eligible" or "not eligible" is not a decision by, or on behalf of, any university, and doesn't guarantee an actual offer. Always check the linked official policy.
Creating an account is optional. It lets you save your grades, contextual answers, Discover list and UCAS choices between visits, set offer alerts, and use the offer tracker. You must be 13 or over to create one. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything done through your account. Provide accurate information and don't create an account on someone else's behalf without their permission. You can delete your account at any time from the My Account page; see the Privacy Policy for what that removes.
If you post an offer or rejection, you're confirming that it is your own, real decision and that the details are accurate as far as you know. Don't post anyone else's decision, made-up decisions, or anything that identifies you or another person (crop names and UCAS Personal IDs out of screenshots).
By posting, you let us show the details to other signed-in users, include them in alert emails to students following that course, and count them in the anonymous totals on What can I study?, as described in the Privacy Policy, until you delete the post. We may correct or remove any post that looks inaccurate, duplicated or in breach of these terms. Offer data is posted by students, not checked by universities, so treat it as an indication only.
The only things students can post for others to see are offer tracker entries, and the only free text in one is the course title. Even so, we don't allow anything illegal, harmful, abusive, or that identifies someone, and we keep an eye on what's posted. If you see a post that looks fake, wrong or inappropriate, press Report next to it. Reports are anonymous and go straight to the site's administrator, who aims to review them within 2 working days and removes anything that breaks these terms.
If you want to complain (about a post, about how a report was handled, or because we removed your post or restricted your account and you think we got it wrong), email privacy@uniscout.uk. We'll reply within 14 days, and reverse the decision if we got it wrong.
Please don't: try to access other users' data or accounts; try to get around rate limits or other protections; overload or disrupt the site; or use it to post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading. You're welcome to use the public course search API and MCP server for personal and research use within the rate limits. We may suspend or remove accounts, or block access, where these terms are broken.
Outcome statistics are from HESA's Discover Uni dataset, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. Entry requirements and module titles are taken from each university's public course pages. The course and module descriptions are not the universities' words: they are summaries written by an AI model from those pages, and a person hasn't read each one, so they can contain mistakes. Each course page links to the university's own page; use that as the authority. University and UCAS names are used only to identify them, not to suggest any endorsement. If you're a university and want something corrected or removed, email privacy@uniscout.uk.
This site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Use it as a starting point for your own research, not a substitute for it. We may change, pause or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
The site is free, so we're not liable for any loss arising from relying on its information, or from the site being unavailable, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
