Entry requirements
A level: Three A Levels at BBC IB: 32 points at 5, 5, 5. SL in Mathematics or Mathematics Studies is required at 4 or above. HL in English is required at 5 or above. A Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) check through Disclosure Scotland will be conducted by the University. This is required of all applicants who firmly accept an unconditional offer of admission (so their status is UF), even those who have been checked previously. SQA Highers: Applicants who achieve BBBB or better over S4 and S5 are encouraged to apply and will be considered.. BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: We are unable to accept the BTEC qualification because the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) requires evidence of subject spread at SCQF Level 6.
