BSc in Mathematics and Mathematics and Statistics, combining pure mathematics with statistical methods. Core topics include Statistics and Mathematical Modelling. The programme is accredited by the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), contributing toward Chartered Mathematician status. Mathematics has been taught at Aberystwyth since 1872.
