About this course
BSc in Mathematics and Geography, combining quantitative mathematical methods with physical geography. Core topics include Mathematical Modelling, Statistics, Environmental Analysis, Fieldwork, Laboratory Techniques, and Research Methods. The degree is split equally between mathematics and geography modules, and a final-year dissertation allows independent research. Regular fieldwork takes advantage of the local coastal, fluvial, and biological geography around Aberystwyth.
