About this course

BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature. Core topics include Research Methods, Fieldwork, Project Management, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. Modules cover medieval, early modern, Romantic, Victorian, modern and contemporary writing, with options in Gothic, comedy, and science fiction. The course includes a final-year independent project that may take the form of a dissertation or an alternative format such as creative work or an exhibition.
