About this course

BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology and Zoology, studying animal diversity, behaviour and evolution across marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Fieldwork and Communication & Writing. Bangor University's dedicated School of Ocean Sciences operates a 35-metre research vessel, the Prince Madog, and fieldwork takes place in estuaries, on the seashore, at sea and in the lab, taking advantage of the nearby mountains and coastline. A final-year self-directed dissertation is undertaken with one-to-one supervisor support.
