About this course
BSc (Hons) in Geography and Earth and Environmental Sciences, covering the study of water, sediment and biogeochemical systems from land to sea. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Fieldwork, and Environmental Analysis. Students undertake a ship-based field course on the research vessel RV Prince Madog and local fieldwork along the North Wales coast, estuaries and Eryri National Park. A self-directed dissertation with oral presentation is completed in the final year.
