Entry requirements

GCSE: grade B/5 in Maths, higher tier (if Level 3 qualification does not include Maths or Science study). About this course

BEng (Hons) Engineering, combining mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, materials science, and computer science. Core topics include programming, circuit design, embedded systems, control systems, computer architecture, and mathematical modelling. An individual final-year project is undertaken under academic supervision, assessed through a dissertation, poster, and oral presentation. Future accreditation is sought from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Mechanical Engineering.
