Entry requirements

GCSE: grade B/5 in Maths, higher tier (if Level 3 qualification does not include Maths or Science study). About this course

MEng in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Circuit Design, Embedded Systems, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Research Methods, and Project Management. This four-year integrated MEng offers extensive practical and laboratory work, with an optional summer placement between levels 5 and 6. In the third and fourth years, optional modules allow specialisation in areas such as broadband communications, enterprise design, and advanced manufacturing.
