Entry requirements

GCSEs: Grade C/Grade 4 in the GCSE examination in any of the following: English Language, English Literature, Welsh First Language, Welsh Literature; Grade C/Grade 4 in the GCSE Examination in Mathematics or Mathematics-Numeracy must also be achieved; GCSE Grade C/Grade 4 in Science. Offers are tariff based, 104 - 128 tariff points from a Level 3 qualification* e.g.: A Levels: General Studies and Key Skills not normally accepted BTEC National Extended Diploma: DMM- DDM T-levels: considered on a case-by-case basis International Baccalaureate is accepted Welsh Baccalaureate is accepted Access to HE is accepted A willingness and positive attitude towards seeking to improve personal use of the Welsh language. About this course

BA (Hons) in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (English medium). Core topics include Ethics & Professional Practice. The course is underpinned by the CaBan Partnership, a bilingual teacher education collaboration with partner schools. Placement occurs each year in a different lead school across urban, rural, mainstream, and special needs settings, covering Foundation and upper primary age ranges.
