About this course

BA (Hons) in Education with Psychology, a psychology and education degree examining the social and developmental contexts of childhood and youth. The course includes an optional professional placement with an approved organisation involving work with children and young people, as well as a dissertation or project in the final year. The first year introduces foundational themes through compulsory modules such as Education, schooling and social justice, Mind, brain and behaviour, and Psychology of wellbeing. The second year advances core knowledge via Developmental psychology, Educational psychology in policy and practice, and Social psychology and individual differences. The third year concludes the studies with compulsory modules including Educational futures and the Final year project.
