About this course
BEng (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering, an electrical and electronic engineering degree focused on the intersection of electronic engineering and computing. The programme includes a compulsory individual project in the final year and shares structural pathways that allow students to switch between related degrees up until the end of the second year. The first year covers foundational principles through Design skills, Fundamentals of electronic and electrical engineering, and Fundamentals of engineering and analysis. The second year progresses with Core engineering concepts, Engineering practice and design, and Topics in electronic and electrical engineering. The third year centres on advanced application through the BEng individual project, the Computer engineering major, and the Electronic and electrical engineering major.
