About this course
BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, an electrical and electronic engineering degree focused on technical foundations and practical application. The initial two years are shared with related courses, allowing students to switch degrees or opt for a professional placement year before the final year. The curriculum culminates in a substantial independent project during the final stage. The first year covers initial concepts through Design skills, Fundamentals of electronic and electrical engineering, and Fundamentals of engineering and analysis. The second year progresses with Core engineering concepts, Engineering practice and design, and Topics in electronic and electrical engineering. The final year centers on advanced study and practical execution through the BEng individual project and the Electronic and electrical engineering major.
