A level: A*A*A including A* in Mathematics and A in Physics IB: 36 points overall and 7, 7, 6 in three Higher Level subjects including 6 in Physics and 7 in either HL Mathematics.
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Integrated Design Engineering, a mechanical engineering degree focused on multidisciplinary product development, systems, and design integration. Studio-based learning and Design-Make-Test cycles form a key part of the curriculum, alongside practical project work. The first year covers foundational principles through Engineering mathematics, Mechatronics, Solid mechanics 1, and Thermofluids 1. The second year advances technical knowledge with Engineering computation, Control and mechatronics, and Design, materials and manufacturing 2. The final year involves specialized study and practical application through Human centred design, Reverse engineering, a Mechatronic design project, and the BEng individual project.
