A level: AAB including A in Biology and A in a second science or mathematics subject. IB: 36 points overall and 6, 6, 5 in three Higher Level subjects including 6 in Biology and 6 in a second science or mathematics subject.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biology, a biology degree encompassing the study of life from molecules to global ecosystems. The course spans life on all scales with a focus on evolution acting at the level of DNA. The first year covers Biodiversity, Cell biology, Genetics, and Principles of ecology and evolution. The second year progresses to Advanced skills for bioscience, Evolution and phylogeny, and Genomics and genetics.
