A level: AAB including A in Chemistry and two other science or mathematics subjects. IB: 36 points overall and 6, 6, 5 in three Higher Level subjects including 6 in Chemistry and 5 in a second science or mathematics course.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Management, a chemistry and business and management degree centred on chemical principles combined with business studies. Core topics include Accounting. At least a quarter of the credits studied are management topics delivered by the School of Management. The first year covers Analytical and spectroscopic techniques, Foundations and applications of chemistry, Introduction to accounting, Organisational behaviour, Skills for chemists, and Year 1 laboratory. The second year focuses on Characterisation, analytical chemistry and spectroscopy for Chemistry with Management students, Fundamental concepts of chemistry, and Year 2 laboratory. The final year comprises Advanced chemistry 1, Advanced practical skills, and Problems and solutions in modern chemistry B.
