About this course
BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, a computer science degree centred on foundational computing theory, software development and computational methods. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. This three-year undergraduate course includes opportunities to specialise in specific areas during the later stages of the programme. The first year establishes fundamental concepts through modules such as Artificial intelligence 1, Computer systems architectures, Discrete mathematics and databases, and Programming 1. The second year progresses to more advanced study covering Advanced programming, Algorithms and complexity, Cybersecurity, and Software engineering. The final year focuses on an independent Individual project.
