About this course
BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, a computer science and computer science (artificial intelligence) degree centered on theoretical and practical computing methods. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students complete an individual project in the final year. The first year establishes foundational knowledge through Artificial intelligence 1, Computer systems architectures, Discrete mathematics and databases, Mathematics for computation, Programming 1, and Programming 2. The second year progresses to advanced concepts with Algorithms and complexity, Artificial intelligence 2, Foundations and frontiers of machine learning, Human-computer interaction 1, Machine learning, Software engineering, and Visual computing. The third year centres on the Individual project.
