About this course
BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, a computer science and computer science (artificial intelligence) degree examining computational theory, algorithmic problem-solving, and machine intelligence. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The programme incorporates a year dedicated to study abroad or a professional placement. Year 1 introduces foundational concepts through modules such as Programming 1, Programming 2, Computer systems architectures, and Discrete mathematics and databases. Year 2 advances technical competence with Algorithms and complexity, Artificial intelligence 2, Foundations and frontiers of machine learning, and Software engineering. Year 3 consists of a Study abroad or Professional placement period. Year 4 concludes the studies with an Individual project.
