A level: A*A*A including A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. IB: 36 points overall and either 7, 7, 6 in three Higher Level subjects including 6 in Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches or 7, 6, 6 or 7, 7, 5 in three Higher Level subjects including 7 in Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, a mathematics degree centred on logical reasoning, structural understanding and the formulation of scientific principles. The curriculum allows students to gain specialist knowledge in pure mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The first year establishes fundamental concepts through Applied mathematics 1A, Applied mathematics 1B, Pure mathematics 1A and Pure mathematics 1B.
