BSc (Hons) in Politics with Economics, a economics and politics and international relations degree spanning both subject areas. Core topics include Research Methods. This four-year course includes a study abroad or placement year. The first year introduces the foundations through Economics, Essential study skills in politics, Introduction to international relations, Politics: key concepts and analysis, and Solving puzzles about politics. The second year covers Comparative politics, International political economy, Introduction to finance, Peace, conflict and international security, and Qualitative and quantitative research methods. The third year consists of a study abroad and placement. The final year focuses on History of economic thought, Quantitative research methods II, and a dissertation.
