About this course
BSc (Hons) in Sport Management and Coaching, a sport and exercise science degree focusing on the organisation, leadership, and sociological analysis of physical activity. Core topics include Research Methods. Students complete foundational units in coaching, sport psychology, and management, alongside a year-long final dissertation. The first year covers the basics through Coaching and physical education, Psychology and sociology of sport, exercise, and health, Sport management and development, and Studying sport 1: knowledge, ethics, and communication. The second year focuses on Studying sport 2: research methods. The final year concludes with Sport and social change and the independent Studying sport 3: dissertation project.
