The course spans four years of advanced study in the biosciences. The first year establishes fundamental scientific knowledge through compulsory modules in Biodiversity, Cell biology, Genetics, and Principles of ecology and evolution. Year 2 continues with Genomics and genetics and Evolution and phylogeny. Year 3 incorporates independent investigation through the Dissertation module. The final year culminates in advanced study through the Advanced capstone project and Advances in biosciences.
