About this course
MBiomed (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, a biomedical science degree centred on human health, disease mechanisms, and advanced laboratory investigations. Core topics include Research Methods. The curriculum spans four years and incorporates a compulsory dissertation alongside an advanced capstone project. The first year covers the foundations through Biochemistry, Cell biology, Genetics, Human physiology, and Practical research skills in biochemistry and biomedical sciences. The second year builds upon these concepts via Advanced skills for bioscience and Pathology. The third year shifts towards investigation through Advanced research techniques and a Dissertation.
