About this course
MEng (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering, an electrical and electronic engineering degree focused on the intersection of electronic engineering and computing. Core topics include Research Methods. The curriculum culminates in an MEng individual project alongside modules in applied artificial intelligence and alternate computing paradigms. The first year covers fundamentals of engineering and analysis, fundamentals of electronic and electrical engineering, and design skills. The second year progresses through engineering practice and design, topics in electronic and electrical engineering, and core engineering concepts. The third year involves a computer engineering major, an electronic and electrical engineering major, and a group design and business project. The fourth year features project scoping and research methods, applied AI, alternate computing paradigms, and the MEng individual project.
