About this course
MEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, an electrical and electronic engineering degree focused on technical, theoretical and practical methods. Core topics include Research Methods. The first two years are shared across four different electrical and electronic engineering routes, allowing students to switch between BEng and MEng degrees or select a professional placement year by the end of the second year. The first year covers initial foundations through Design skills, Fundamentals of electronic and electrical engineering, and Fundamentals of engineering and analysis. The second year progresses with Core engineering concepts, Engineering practice and design, and Topics in electronic and electrical engineering. The third year continues with Electronic and electrical engineering major and Group design and business project. The fourth year concludes with an MEng individual project and Project scoping and research methods.
