Entry requirements
A level: AAA or A*AB including A in Mathematics and A in a second science or technology subject IB: 36 points overall and 6, 6, 6 or 7, 6, 5 in three Higher Level subjects including 6 in either HL Mathematics and 6 in one other science or technology subject.
About this course
MEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a degree in electrical and electronic engineering. Core topics include Research Methods. The course includes a professional placement year and allows students to switch between BEng and MEng degrees up until the end of the second year. The first year covers Design skills, Fundamentals of electronic and electrical engineering, and Fundamentals of engineering and analysis. The second year introduces Core engineering concepts, Engineering practice and design, and Topics in electronic and electrical engineering. The third year consists of a Professional placement. The fourth year features the Electronic and electrical engineering major, alongside the Group design and business project. The fifth year concludes with the MEng individual project and Project scoping and research methods.
