About this course
MEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering with Space Science and Technology, an electrical and electronic engineering degree focused on electronic systems for space environments. Core topics include Research Methods. The course includes an MEng individual project in the final year and allows students to switch between BEng and MEng routes up to the end of the second year. The first year introduces foundational principles through modules such as Design skills, Fundamentals of electronic and electrical engineering, and Fundamentals of engineering and analysis. The second year builds on this with Core engineering concepts, Engineering practice and design, and Topics in electronic and electrical engineering. The third year moves into specialised areas through Satellite navigation systems, Spacecraft systems and technology major, Electronic and electrical engineering major, and Group design and business project. The fourth year concludes with advanced study including Remote sensing, Project scoping and research methods, and an MEng individual project.
