A level: AAB including Chemistry and one other science or mathematics subject. IB: 36 points overall and 6, 6, 5 in three Higher Level subjects including Chemistry and a second science or mathematics course.
About this course
MPharmacol (Hons) in Pharmacology, a pharmacology degree focused on the scientific study of drug action and discovery. Core topics include Research Methods. The course includes a third-year pharmacology placement and a dedicated final-year MPharmacol project. The first year covers health and disease, the chemistry of drugs, and research and scientific skills for pharmacology. The second year examines molecular pharmacology, immunity and immunotherapy, and central nervous system pharmacology. The third year consists of a pharmacology landmark dissertation and a pharmacology placement. The final year concludes with advanced drug discovery and advanced topics and trends in pharmacology.
