About this course
BA (Hons) in Children, Schools & Families (Graduate Practitioner), combining the study of childhood with education and family support. Core topics include research methods, critical and analytical thinking, and a global and comparative perspective on childhood. The course includes a foundation year designed to support the transition to degree-level study, with guaranteed progression to year one on successful completion. Students complete a research project at Level 6 and gain placement experience alongside on-campus study throughout the programme.
