In addition to the A Level, BTEC and other level 3 requirements below, applicants for this course also need to hold 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English Language or Literature, Maths and Science. Level 2 equivalents are not accepted. A Level: 128 UCAS Tariff points from three A Levels Grades ABB (or equivalent) Required subjects: Health and Social Care, Psychology, Sociology or Science subject at A Level or level 3 equivalent Excluded subjects: General Studies and Critical Thinking. Extended Project will only be considered alongside A Levels if a relevant subject has been chosen. About this course

BSc (Hons) in Midwifery. Core topics include Research Methods, Clinical Skills, and Global & Comparative Perspective. Graduates may obtain the NHS Newborn and Infant Physical Examination Programme (NIPE) qualification alongside the BSc (Hons) degree, which is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The first two years integrate theory and practice, while the third year is structured around alternating theory and practice blocks, with clinical competence assessed through the Midwifery Ongoing Record of Achievement (MORA).
