Entry requirements

A Level: AAB to include A-level Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry or Further Maths or Computer Science.. IB: 6,6,5 at Higher Level, including Mathematics and Computer Science or Physics or Chemistry with a minimum of 32 points overall.. BTEC: BTEC only considered when combined with other qualifications. We would require 2 A-levels (Mathematics and Physics) plus the BTEC.

About this course

Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering, an aerospace engineering degree focused on aircraft and spacecraft design. The course concludes with an individual project. The first year builds fundamental knowledge through Mathematics and Computing for Engineers, Mechanics and Structures, Thermodynamics, Kinetics and Fluids, and Materials, Manufacturing and Sustainability. The second year progresses to Aerodynamics and Propulsion, Aircraft Design and Flight Mechanics, Space System Engineering and Design, and Fracture, Fatigue and Degradation. The final year involves advanced study via Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis for Aerospace, Flight Dynamics and Control, and Space Mission Analysis and Design, alongside options covering topics such as Battery Technology and Manufacturing and High Performance Aerospace Materials.
