MEng Aerospace Engineering
Entry requirements
A Level: AAA to include A-level Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry or Further Maths or Computer Science.. IB: 6,6,6 at Higher Level, including Mathematics and Computer Science or Physics or Chemistry, with a minimum of 32 points overall.. BTEC: BTEC only considered when combined with other qualifications. We would require 2 A-levels (Mathematics and Physics) plus the BTEC.
About this course
Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering, an aerospace engineering degree focused on aircraft and spacecraft systems. The course culminates in an aerospace group project in the final year. The first year introduces foundational principles through Discover: Practical and Design Skills for Aerospace, Electrical and Magnetic Engineering, and Mathematics and Computing for Engineers. The second year expands into Aerodynamics and Propulsion, Aircraft Design and Flight Mechanics, and Space System Engineering and Design alongside practical training. The third year involves an Aerospace Individual Project, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis for Aerospace, and Flight Dynamics and Control. The final year focuses on advanced technical topics including Advanced Aerodynamic and Aeroelastic Analysis, Aerospace Structural Analysis, and Sensing and Control for Autonomous Systems.
