About this course
Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with Study in Continental Europe, a biochemistry degree focused on molecular biosciences and advanced research. Core topics include Data Analysis and Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students spend the third year abroad at a European partner university. The first year covers the foundations through LC Cell Biology & Physiology, LC Chemistry for Biochemists I, LC Genetics I and LC Molecular Biosciences and Microbiology. The second year includes Chemistry for Biochemists - II, Membranes, Energy and Metabolism, Cell and Developmental Biology and Genetic Engineering and Data Science. The third year consists of a year abroad studying at a European partner institution. The final year involves advanced study and practical work through modules such as Practical Project, Cancer Biology, Molecular and Cellular Immunology and Eukaryotic Gene Expression.
