About this course
Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with Industrial Study, a chemical engineering degree centred on practical process design and industrial application. Core topics include Systems Design and Data Analysis. The course includes a dedicated third year spent on an industrial placement and culminates in a major design project in the final year. The first year covers foundational principles through modules such as Reaction, Equilibria and Thermodynamics, Chemistry and Materials, Introduction to Transport Phenomena, and Modelling Concepts and Tools (MCT). The second year advances core knowledge with Sustainable Process Engineering, Mass, Heat and Momentum Transport, Process Integration and Unit Operations, and Systems Design and Control. The final year enables students to tailor their studies through optional topics such as Energy Economics, Engineering of Food, Introduction to Healthcare Technologies, and Petrochemical Engineering alongside compulsory advanced study.
