About this course
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Year in Industry, a chemistry degree focused on chemical science and industrial applications. Core topics include Research Methods. This four-year degree includes a dedicated industrial placement year. The first year covers core foundations through Inorganic Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry I, Physical Chemistry I and Practical Chemistry I. The second year builds upon this knowledge with Inorganic Chemistry II, Organic Chemistry II, Physical Chemistry II and Practical Chemistry II. The third year is spent on an industrial placement focusing on an industrial project. The final year involves advanced study and research through Molecules and Materials, Structure, Strategy and Spectroscopy, Synthesis and Reactivity, and 3P1 Research Projects.
