About this course
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Modern Language, a chemistry and modern languages degree studying chemical science alongside foreign language training. Core topics include Research Methods. The third year includes the 3P1 Research Projects. The first year covers the foundations through General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry I, Physical Chemistry I, Practical Chemistry I, and a language module. The second year builds on this with Inorganic Chemistry II, Organic Chemistry II, Physical Chemistry II, Practical Chemistry II, Structural Analysis, and a language module. The final year involves Molecules and Materials, Properties of Matter, Synthesis and Reactivity, a language module, Year 3 Research Methodology I, and Year 3 Research Methodology II.
