About this course

Master in Science in Chemistry with Sustainability, a chemistry degree focused on environmental challenges and sustainable chemical processes. Core topics include Research Methods. The four-year programme culminates in an independent research project and includes advanced academic study in later stages. The first year covers core foundations through modules such as General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry I, Physical Chemistry I, and Practical Chemistry I. The second year continues with Inorganic Chemistry II, Organic Chemistry II, Physical Chemistry II, Practical Chemistry II, and Structural Analysis alongside chemistry options. The third year advances into specialised study with Molecules and Materials, Properties of Matter, Structure, Strategy and Spectroscopy, Synthesis and Reactivity, and research methodology modules. The final fourth year concentrates on advanced chemical topics and the 4P1 Masters Research Project.
