Entry requirements
A Level: A*AA to include A-level Mathematics grade A.. IB: 7,6,6 at Higher Level to include 6 in Mathematics, with a minimum of 32 points overall. We also require 5 in Standard Level English.. BTEC: only accepted in combination with other qualifications, see below.
About this course
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Study Abroad, a computer science degree focusing on software development and computing systems. Core topics include Programming, Computer Architecture, Data Analysis, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students spend the third year studying abroad at an international partner institution before returning for a final-year project. The first year covers core foundations through modules such as Object Oriented Programming, Databases and Web Programming, Artificial Intelligence 1, and Data Structure & Algorithms. The second year progresses to topics like Artificial Intelligence 2, Theories of Computation, Functional Programming, and Operating Systems and Systems Programming. Following the third year abroad, the final year includes a Computer Science Project alongside optional advanced modules spanning Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, cryptography, networking, and distributed systems, such as Advanced Cryptography, Advanced Functional Programming, Advanced Networking, and Machine Learning.
