About this course

Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Engineering, a chemical engineering degree centred on the science and technology of energy systems. Core topics include Systems Design, Data Analysis, and Project Management. The course culminates in a substantial design project in the final year. The first year covers foundational concepts through Chemistry and Materials, Introduction to Transport Phenomena, Discover: Labs and Data Analysis, and Modelling Concepts and Tools (MCT). The second year advances into Energy Systems, Policy, Markets and Regulation, Process Design Exercise, Science for Energy Engineering 2, and Systems Design and Control. The final year allows students to tackle complex problems via Energy Data and Analytics, Science for Energy Engineering 3, Energy efficiency and sustainability, and Plant Optimisation, alongside a core Design Project.
