About this course
Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Engineering with Industrial Study, an undergraduate degree in the chemical engineering domain. Core topics include Systems Design, Data Analysis, and Project Management. The curriculum incorporates an industrial placement year in the third year and concludes with a design project. The first year introduces fundamental concepts through Chemistry and Materials, Introduction to Transport Phenomena, Discover: Labs and Data Analysis, Modelling Concepts and Tools (MCT), Process Design and Analysis, and Science for Energy Engineering 1. The second year advances into Energy Systems, Policy, Markets and Regulation, Process Design Exercise, Science for Energy Engineering 2, Sustainable Process Engineering, Systems Design and Control, and Mass, Heat and Momentum Transport. Year three consists of the Chemical Engineering Industrial Study placement. The final year involves advanced study and application through modules such as Design Project, Energy Data and Analytics, Science for Energy Engineering 3, Energy efficiency and sustainability, Energy Economics, Plant Optimisation, and Business and Project Management.
