About this course

Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing, an undergraduate degree centred on English and Creative Writing BA (Hons) subject material. Core topics include Research Methods. The third year includes a Creative Writing Project and a Dissertation in English Literature. The first year covers foundational concepts through Contemporary Creative Writing A, Literary Worlds: From Revolution to Postmodernity, Approaches to Critical Reading, and Approaches to Literary Cultures. Students examine various literary forms, historical periods, and creative writing techniques. The final year allows students to complete advanced independent work through dedicated independent study modules.
