About this course

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Change and Sustainability with Year Abroad BSc, an environmental science degree examining natural systems and sustainable development. Core topics include Fieldwork. The course includes a compulsory year abroad spent studying at an overseas university in the third year. The first year establishes fundamental concepts through modules such as One-Planet Thinking, Connected Earth: Environmental Systems and Change, Ecological Concepts and Plant Sciences, and Fieldwork: Principles and Practice. The second year expands into applied subjects with modules including Developing Solutions, Earth Resources, Environmental Impacts and Sustainability, Environmental Pollution and Management, and Hydrology and River Management.
