About this course

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with Year Abroad BSc, an environmental science degree centred on environmental systems and global sustainability. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, and Project Management. Students spend the third year studying abroad at one of approximately 100 exchange partners. The first year covers core foundations through LC Applied GIS and Data Science, LC Connected Earth: Environmental Systems and Change, LC Ecological Concepts and Plant Sciences, and LC Research Methods in Environmental Science. The second year progresses to advanced study with modules including Advanced Research Methods and Project Planning, Field Research Skills for Physical Geography and Environmental Sciences, Environmental Pollution and Management, and Hydroclimatology: Climate and Water. The third year consists of a study abroad placement in environmental science.
