About this course
Bachelor of Arts in French and Russian BA, a modern languages degree centred on French and Francophone Studies and Russian Studies. Core topics include Global & Comparative Perspective. The course includes a compulsory year abroad spent studying or working in a relevant country. The first year covers foundational linguistic proficiency and cultural studies through modules such as French Language 1 (Advanced), Exploring Identities in the French and Francophone world, Russian Language 1 (Beginners): Decoding and Discovering Russian, and Roots of the Rus': Language, Culture, and Civilisation.
