About this course
Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with French, a politics and international relations and french and francophone studies degree examining global political structures alongside language proficiency. Core topics include Research Methods and Global & Comparative Perspective. The course includes a whole academic year studying abroad. The first year covers foundational concepts through Debates in World Politics I, Debates in World Politics II, Global History and French Language 1 (Advanced). The second year advances linguistic and political study with International Relations Theory, French Language 2 (Advanced), Global Governance and International Security. The third year is spent on a study abroad placement. The final year involves advanced modules such as Dissertation, French Language Final Year, China: State and Society and Conflict and Peace in Deeply Divided Societies, alongside further specialized options.
