About this course
Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with Spanish, a politics and international relations and spanish, portuguese and latin american studies degree examining global diplomatic and linguistic frameworks. Core topics include Research Methods, Global & Comparative Perspective. Students spend the third year studying abroad and complete a dissertation in the final year. The first year covers foundational themes through modules such as Debates in World Politics I, Understanding International Relations, and Spanish Language 1 (Advanced). The second year explores specialised areas through International Relations Theory, Spanish Language 2 (Advanced), and Global Governance. The fourth year involves advanced study with Dissertation, Spanish Language Final Year, and Conflict and Peace in Deeply Divided Societies. Optional modules across various stages allow students to focus on areas such as political ethics, Hispanic cultures, and regional politics.
