About this course

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics BSc, a mathematics degree centred on the breadth and depth of the modern subject. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The programme is delivered across three undergraduate years. In the first year, students cover foundational concepts through modules such as Differential Equations and Mechanics, Mathematical Foundations, Calculus and Linear Algebra, and Probability, Data and Statistics. The second year progresses to deeper study with Applied Linear Algebra and Optimisation, Groups, Rings and Fields, Metric Spaces and Geometry, and Real and Complex Analysis. The final year allows students to pursue specialised interests across various mathematical applications, culminating in a compulsory Mathematical Project alongside optional modules such as Combinatorics and Computation, Data Science and Machine Learning, and Number Theory and Cryptography.
