About this course
Bachelor of Nursing in Nursing (Mental Health), a nursing (mental health) degree providing professional preparation for clinical practice. The course includes hands-on clinical placements located across a major UK healthcare region. The first year covers fundamental topics through modules such as Essential Nursing Care, Health and Wellbeing, and Principles of Nursing. The second year progresses to Evaluating Nursing Care in Mental Health, Clinical Decision-Making, Promoting Health and Self-Management, and Therapeutic Nursing in Mental Health Care. The final year focuses on advanced practice through Leading and Managing Nursing Practice, Evidence Based Nursing Practice, and Recognising and responding to acute deterioration within complex mental health nursing care.
